Balance Fitness

Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays: 11:00am -11:45am

Mondays: 1:00pm - 1:45pm

Condition your core and balance by learning how to move your body in a healthy way to strengthen muscles, avoid injury and reinforce proper movement principles. By combining a variety of movement forms, participants will achieve overall health and wellness and improved mobility. Exercises will be performed seated in a chair and standing. Chairs will be available to support standing and balancing postures.

Strength in Numbers

Experience a full-body strength fitness class designed to strengthen your body using weights, resistance bands, and body weight exercises. This comprehensive workout targets all major muscle groups, enhancing endurance and building power. Ideal for all fitness levels, each session promises a challenging and rewarding way to boost your overall fitness.

Seniors in Motion

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:15am - 11:15am & 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

Instructor: Fitness Staff

This unique 60-minute class emphasizes gentle aerobic activity and strengthening exercises for upper and lower body muscle groups. In addition, class structure will include group stretching and relaxation. Various modalities may be used such as treadmills, bicycles, arm bikes, rowing machines, resistance machines and handheld weights.

Chair Zumba

This fun and energetic workout is designed for all fitness levels and focuses on combining upbeat Latin-inspired dance moves with the stability of a chair. Perfect for those who need a low-impact option, this class will help improve your cardiovascular health, coordination, and overall fitness. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, our Chair Zumba class offers a vibrant and supportive environment to groove, laugh, and stay active.

Foundational Yoga

Wednesdays: 9:30am - 10:30am

Instructor: Caroline Foley

This class offers gentle postures, breath work and stretching in this mind-body practice. It is a great class for participants who may be experiencing arthritis, have limited mobility, injuries, chronic pain or fatigue. Participants can choose to perform exercises in a chair or on the floor. Mats, blocks and straps are provided. 

$5 per class for Fitness Center members, $20 per class for non-members.

Tune-Up Circuit

Wednesdays: 12:00pm - 12:45pm

Instructor: Fitness Staff

Combine fun with fitness with a standing circuit workout. Class will consist of exercise stations which will alternate muscle groups, such as lower body, upper body and core, with an option of a brief bout of cardio exercise in between stations. The circuit will include exercises such as wall push-ups, step-ups, marching in place, Cybex strength training machines, and more. At the conclusion of the class, participants will join together for 15 minutes of floor work consisting of abs and stretching exercises.
